◉ Mobile Visiting Home Service (m-VHS) System

■ Purpose: To support visiting home services for the residents living in the remote areas by entering health screening information to mobile phone or tablet PC at patient’s home. Screening information are uploaded to the health center system for patient referral to the secondary hospital when patients were found to be serious.

■ Modules: m-VHS system is comprised of five modules: registration and data management, physical devices, non-communicable disease (NCD) management, communicable disease management, and doctor’s assessment and continuous care record (CCR).

○ Registration and data management module supports registering patients and uploading screening information to health center system.

○ Physical exam and devices module supports entering physical exam data and managing the mobile devices such as blood measurement, ultrasound, and ECG.

○ Non-communicable disease management module supports entering NCD data (hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia) and cancer screening data (cervical cancer and breast cancer).

○ Communicable disease management module supports entering communicable disease data (tuberculosis, hepatitis B and C, HIV, STI, and H. Pylori).

○ Doctor’s assessment and CCR module supports entering doctor’s assessment based on screening information and entering referral order to the secondary hospitals for severe patients. According to the WHO report, m-VHS system detected many cancer patients at early stage and referred them to the National Cancer Institute in Ulaanbaatar.
